Internet Explorer 8 is the latest version of IE from Microsoft. Internet explorer 8 has several enhancements, new features like support for accelerators, add-on and is faster than IE 7. If you have recently updated or installed Internet Explorer 8 then you will find Internet explorer 8 UI is different from IE 7 & IE 8.
For example you wont see Traditional Menu bar and Address bar is located at top of IE 8. You may not be comfortable with this UI change. There is no way to get back Menu bar from IE 8 Options windows. But if you need to have Menu bar in your Internet Explorer 8 then here is how to guide to get back menu Bar in Internet Explorer 8.
How to Get Back Menu Bar in Internet Explorer 8
1. Press Win+R and type “regedit” at run command window
2. Now Navigate to following key left pan of registry editor
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser
3. Right click and select New DWORD with name “ITBar7Position” and 00000001 as value
4. Now close your registry editor and restart your windows 7/vista
That’s it. Now open your Internet Explorer 8 and you should see Menu bar below address bar.

Internet Explorer 8 is more stable than IE 7 that is why i like it. I always experience freezing browser window in IE 7.
